What we collect
bgremove is an offline desktop app. Your product photos are processed entirely on your Mac and never uploaded to our servers. We do not collect, store, or transmit any image data.
License activation
To verify your license, the app sends your Gumroad license key to Gumroad's servers (api.gumroad.com) for validation. We do not store or log the verification result on our servers.
Update checks
The app periodically checks https://dl.oceaninnov.com/appcast.xml for new versions. Standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent) may appear in our CDN access logs. We do not associate this with individual users.
Website analytics
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track individual visitors. We see aggregate page view counts and referrer information only.
